Optimum Security has been providing security guarding services since 1998. Our reputation for delivering quality services has led to an enviable track record in retaining customers and staff. Not surprisingly, we compete successfully against other main stream security guard companies, with new customers finding our approach to their security requirements both refreshing and innovative.

Our People

A company is built from its people and so OGP has taken the time to employ some of the most experienced hands in the industry.

The staff that we have employed include ex-services and police in addition to those who have been promoted to senior management roles from the front end of fundamental manned guarding positions.

OGP believes this combination of personnel provides a healthy balance of viewpoints and an excellent framework for collaboration. It has allowed us to gain traction in the marketplace where others have lost ground.


To meet market standards, we apply internationally recognised quality standards as a reference point for our work. These include; BS EN ISO 9001, incorporating BS 7858 and BS 7499.

But attainment of quality standards is only half of the story, the real work begins from the moment that we are appointed to provide services at any new assignment. From this point onwards we set to work, using our experience to craft a distinct set of Key Performance Indicators to meet our clients needs. These include standards of training, promptness of staff, management communication and responsiveness to short notice needs. Furthermore, our clients are able to monitor our performance against the criteria we put in place.

At monthly meetings our service performance is scrutinised to ensure that we are doing exactly what we set out to do. If we do fall below the standards we agree upon, a plan to rectify the situation will be established and communicated to you so that we all know what needs to be achieved.
